Remember all those goals you had at the start of the year? How are they going?
If you’re like any ambitious person—you’ve set at least one goal for the New Year professionally or for your business, and it was a meaty, lofty one…the next promotion, launching a new product or initiative, closing a big M&A transaction, or maybe just aiming to earn your first nice watch. Whatever the goal, the sad truth is that only a select few will achieve what they set for themselves in the New Year.
Everyone else tends to fall to the wayside. Those are the stats.
But this isn’t about everyone else. This is about you.
Are you setting yourself up to fall to the crowd of the many, or are you positioning yourself to be a part of the select few?
Take a look at yourself, at your surroundings. Look at what you’ve accomplished in the past few months…and at the path you’ve got set for the months to come.
Are you on track? If not, fix that.
There’s still time, and there’s no better time to do that than right now. Don’t wait for the next milestone—next quarter, next year—to get back into gear. Work on it now. Start today.
