When Friday hits, many see this as a cause for celebration. If you love what you do, however, it can be tempting to work the weekend away.
That’s not a bad thing, but you need to be careful.
Working continuously on anything in any aspect of your life can lead to burnout, even when it comes to activities you enjoy doing. Your business might seem to benefit, at first, but it can come at the expense of keeping your axe sharp for the long game.
So, even if it’s just for an hour or two — or maybe the whole weekend — take a break. Spend some time with your family or friends, go for a jog, watch a movie, something….and look at your weekend as an investment.
Sure, you could spend the entire weekend pushing at 80% capacity (or less), but sometimes it’s worth it to spend a little time getting yourself back up to 100%.
