The thing that those in the top .01% get right is that they see the cage, and the other 99.99%? Well, they don’t see it all. That is what keeps them stuck. I’ll die on that hill, and it’s the cornerstone of my work.
Part of the pushing and insight that happens in executive coaching, when done right, is when the coach has a grasp of your particular cage and is able to help you see the open door that you’ve been missing…so you can walk right through it.
But many of you don’t work with someone like that, so I thought I’d at least give you some tools to start to really take a moment to think, to push at your own edges a bit, and look at the cage you probably don’t realize you’re living in.

It’s mental positioning, how they think about what they do.
The bad news is that being in a self-imposed cage is one of the primary things that has been keeping you smaller than you could be.
The good news is that this is mental, surmountable, and will help you move ahead once you break free.
