It’s nearly a New Year and a new opportunity. I thought I’d make this more of a letter than the usual “article” and share the “engine” of people that I see in a real, straightforward, and intimate way. I have worked with people who have built companies into the billions, and people who are just starting out on their journey—but I can tell you this, what they contain is what matters most. I will talk more about the details of what I see in this piece…and take this opportunity to challenge you and give you the chance to challenge yourself.

Take this moment for yourself, and listen or read this somewhere quiet - think about it. It sets the tone for the upcoming year—but also your life and work.

I want to ask you to take this opportunity to reflect on what *you* contain. Are you happy with where you are at? Do you feel you have more in the tank? Do you feel that you’ve even scratched the surface of your own potential?

Here’s what I see in those who have done some incredible things—from over a decade of work—and I will divide this writing into two sections…one being a reflection on some of my highest performers, and another, a self-reflection that I hope you take on if you are ambitious yourself.
