Most people shy away from emotions like “anger.” We’re told it’s bad and shove it in a box, but what I’ve found is that ultra-successful people don’t do that. Positive emotions, negative emotions—they find a way to use it all.
I was having a conversation with a founder in Asia who had bootstrapped a company to 8-figure revenue numbers in only a couple of years. He’s built a business of a similar scale before, he’s a quiet person—not particularly social—but internally this guy is a monster. He is kind and thoughtful, yes, but he also channels powerful emotions that many would stuff away to work for him and propel him forward.
After years of this work, I noticed a pattern: It wasn’t just him.
Time and again, I’ve seen founders, creators, entrepreneurs, and executives just tap into emotions and experiences that others seem to shove aside. This edition is about why you shouldn’t push so-called “negative” emotions down, and how the large players channel them for big-time push.
This is probably the most psychologically intensive edition we’ve had so far—and deeply personal to you—so hang in.
