If you want to be successful, focus on your goals - not the crowd.
Too many people fall into the trap of comparison. Not only is it the “thief of joy,” but it’s also a massive thief of progress - especially when you’re so tuned into what everyone else is doing that you forget to focus on yourself.
Next time you get the urge to start comparing, remember this:
It’s the outlier who does great things.
If you keep your eyes focused on the crowd, you risk being pulled in their direction. Keep your eyes locked on your target instead, and watch yourself rise.
1. No more waiting. If you want something for your life, it’s time to work for it.
2. Learning is an important part of the process, but there’s so much wisdom to be gained through experience.
3. If you need some fuel, stop waiting and start acting - it’s a rush once you see what you can do.
4. Walls are inevitable. Instead of letting yourself get stopped by them, learn to run *through* them.
5. Endless excuses will crush potential. Step up to the plate, and take accountability - if you want something, work for it.
6. Other people’s opinions of you don’t matter. YOU set the bar, YOU decide what’s possible, and YOU are the one who has the power to make it happen.
