80% of New Year's Resolutions fail by February. Are you still on track?
As January comes to an end, it’s time for a check-in:
Are you still showing up for yourself?
Or can you feel things start to slip?
Research shows that 80% of New Year’s Resolutions fail by February, but - if you’re struggling to stay motivated - it’s not too late to course correct. Here’s a quick reframe to help you make that happen: You don’t have to become “mentally stronger” to achieve your goals, you need to tap into the strength you already have.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again - this is why focused obsession beats discipline every single time. You can push yourself all you want, you can grind it out, but - eventually - you’re going to run out of steam.
Find your pull instead.
If you’re trying to force motivation, you’re playing a losing game. If you want to make it to the next level, it’s time to recalibrate - connect with your own internal force and let that drive you instead.
1. Training yourself not to take things personally is a critical step to performing at a higher level.
2. If you avoid the potential for ridicule, you’re also avoiding the potential for success.
3. Stop waiting and start building.
4. Being “boring” has the potential to blow everyone else out of the water. Build in private, then fall like a thunderbolt.
5. Stop holding yourself back.
6. I’ve said it countless times: success requires learning to grind when it’s boring.

If you want to be successful, it’s time to go deep. Connect with your internal drivers, and tap into them - these are the things that will pull you forward…even when motivation fails. Whether you’re just starting out or scaling to new heights, take a moment to check in:
→ What’s your big why?
→ Why are you doing what you’re doing?
→ What are you hungry for?

So love the point that finding your "pull" is so much more powerful than pushing all the time. More sustainable, and there's so often a magic that shows up in a person being pulled that unlocks tons of serendipity and luck.
