The emails you’re ignoring, the tasks you dislike, the hard conversation you need to have…as avoidance grows, it often compounds. Suddenly, these so-called “smaller” tasks create overwhelm, stress, and cognitive carryover that can hold you back from operating at a higher level.
Remember: stress feeds on itself. If you want to be less stressed (and bring your A-game), you have to stop feeding it. Set aside some time today to address anything you might be avoiding, and watch how it impacts your time, energy, and stress levels for the week ahead.
