Are you going to fizzle out or finish strong? At the very least, try this quick practice.
I always recommend that people use the holidays wisely.
Take time to be with your family, give yourself a break if you need one, but don’t forget to take time to reflect. Athletes review tape, after all, but do you put aside time to review your own performance?
In the next few days, try setting aside time to ask yourself a few questions. Look at things like: Do you see any patterns popping up in your work and/or personal life? What about problem areas? Struggles? Strengths?
Be brutally honest with yourself, and use these reflections to strengthen your plan for the year ahead. Don’t wait until January 1 to start pushing toward your goals.
Set yourself up for success now.
1. Have you thought about the costs of inaction? More importantly, are you willing to accept them?
2. Who you surround yourself with will either push you up or pull you down - choose wisely.
3. Building confidence builds momentum, so don’t be afraid to hype yourself up.
4. If you want to win big, start thinking outside of the box.
5. The only shortcut is straight through. Keep going.
6. Get your thoughts in line if you want to run through walls.
On the fence about becoming a paid subscriber? Here’s what people are saying about taking the leap:
Once upon a time I swore I'd never pay for a newsletter
Then I started following @drgurner, who quickly became a favorite for her no nonsense, well rounded, and highly intelligent content
Now I'm doing something I said I never would -- pay for a newsletter
Suggest you do, too
