Thoughts of the Week: July 21, 2023
How you approach learning says a lot about your potential for success.
The majority of professionals hit a wall. Rather, they build a wall, by becoming stagnant. For some, the moment they take off their cap and gown, they take that as a message to stop learning.
This is a huge mistake, and it’s one I see far too many people make.
When you come across the unknown, let your first impulse be to learn and figure it out. Be Resourceful. Don’t be the kind of person to just walk away. Not only will this lead to ceilings in your career, but it’s a pattern that can shortchange your future.
Lean into learning, and watch as your problem-solving skills set you apart.
Sure, you might still encounter walls here and there…but you’ll know that you can run through walls instead of letting them hold you back.
