Success comes in many forms, but it happens internally first. Everything is decided in your mind and will extend outward in every action you take (or don’t). These decisions are pivot points that will guide what you aspire to and also - what you see as possible.
And these decisions are based on “rules” you have absorbed and operate under.
The rules you ingest and believe will dictate:
What you try for
The scale you can reach
How much money you make, and…
What you feel it is possible to do
What you see as possible is largely a construct. It is a theoretical set of lines in the sand. Imaginary rules. But those rules are very, very real to those who carry them - and they determine everything ahead.
One of the biggest takeaways from doing the work I do is realizing that most everyday people construct guardrails from ingesting those imaginary rules, and those guardrails keep them smaller than they have the potential to be.
The media can portray ultra-successful people as rule breakers, but in my work, I would say more accurately that they simply do not live by imaginary rules that govern the majority of people.
We’re going to focus on these rules, the distinction between the .01% and most people, and how to begin to challenge yourself.
Time to do some unlearning.
