A founder I worked with said to me, “I don’t allow myself to consider if things won’t work out. If I start to go there, I know it will just derail me. I have to put that [thinking] away quickly when it happens.”
We all inherently know this—yet where we usually focus isn’t internal, but external. We focus on what we do, what we accomplish, our productivity, or our lack of focus. All of these are important, and all of these are, in some ways, outputs that are tied to how we think…but they aren’t the *only* things we should focus on.
Your self-talk—how you think, your internal dialogue—shapes your reality, dictates your actions, and determines your success more than any external force ever could.

You will either pay attention to self-talk, or it will lead you around.

We’re going to talk about how to make your self-talk work for you, not against you.
