High achievers are often passionate people. They care deeply about what they do, and they invest *everything they have* into it. What they do matters to them at a level that very few are able to understand.
As a human being who is passionate about what you do, you are going to get fairly strong surges of emotion—but how do you navigate them with other people? How do you express those intense emotions as a leader?
The irritation, the anger, the disappointment—what about the *joy*?
I have had clients that run through a range of emotions throughout their day. Some wear their emotions on their sleeve, while others seem not to experience them at all. Some have lashed out, others are so stoic you’d never know if they were happy, sad, or agitated on any given day.

It seems to be a common challenge across the board: how do you present your intensity in a way that will be most effective and useful for the team or company you lead.
The best leaders know how to express their emotions to guide high-performing teams and companies. Sometimes in controversial ways, but often very intentionally.
