Most stress management advice isn't written for people like you.

You're not looking to work less. You're not planning to magically transform your 80-hour week into a “Four-Hour Work Week”...and frankly, you're tired of being told that your drive is somehow “toxic” or unsustainable. It’s how significant careers and companies are built.

Most people I work with at elite levels don’t expect to be sitting on a beach somewhere drinking margaritas. They *want* to build, they *like* their work, and they understand that they have an opportunity to do something incredible every day.

One thing they also understand? They need a way to manage it. The stress you feel isn't a bug—it's a feature of the path you've chosen. You’ve got to learn how to wrangle it and channel it in a way that will be sustainable for you, and anyone in your life who is around you.

Lovt this week’s edition of Ultra Successful? Don’t forget to tweet about it.

After coaching untold founders, executives, and high-performing people who constantly push the boundaries of what's possible, I've seen what separates those who flame out from those who sustain their edge for years. It's not about eliminating stress—it's about strategically managing it.

Here’s how to think about it, and a stress management plan to put to use immediately.
