This isn’t about ego, but fully owning deep self-knowledge and potential. As I’ve spoken with leaders of business, sometimes throughout their journey, I find that there’s an internal (and sometimes external) proclamation to what many do. They claim it, then they work to make that claim a reality. 

One man I’ve worked with for a few years said, “We’re going to be the #1 brand in Singapore in this category”...and today, he is. He saw it early. He crowned himself. 

People are often reluctant to speak things into the world - to claim the place they see themselves holding. But the truth is, for many people I work with, they have already decided who they will become.

You also have to decide. To make the call. To direct the course. 

To crown yourself.
