The biggest obstacle I see to achievement isn't skill, it's comfort.
Plenty of people have talent, but talent is rarely what carries you across the finish line. It’s about confidence and determination - showing up even when it’s boring or difficult - and, most importantly, about your willingness to embrace things like failure and risk.
If you’re staying where you’re comfortable, you’re going to find it hard to grow.
1. Self-belief is the ultimate game-changer.
2. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - speed is essential if you want to be Ultra Successful.
3. Reclaim your time by cutting out the excess.
4. Be intentional about how you spend your time, and it will pay dividends.
5. Success isn’t just about saying “yes,” it’s also about saying “no” to things that aren’t serving you.
6. There’s no such thing as a static life. Always keep learning and evolving.

There’s an old quote that says, “Your comfort zone is where dreams go to die,” and this is particularly true for people who want to be successful. Plenty of people have fantastic ideas - for a book, a business, an app, etc - but ideas are easy. Execution is the hard part, and it almost always involves stepping outside of your comfort zone.
The cool thing about comfort zones is that they expand (and contract) depending on how you use them. If you train yourself to embrace risk, your comfort zone will expand to make room for it. If you avoid risk, however, your comfort zone will shrink until you avoid even the thought of taking a risk.
If you want to be great, don’t wait to feel comfortable - or you’ll be waiting forever. Instead, use your actions to bend your comfort zone around you.
Think about where you’re staying in your comfort zone right now. What’s one thing you can do today - right now - to make it stretch? Share it below to add some accountability to your week, and be sure to encourage others who are doing the same.

Much, much earlier in my career, I was always annoyed when I had to seek out information or clarification from an Executive in the companies I was working in. They always rushed me in, rushed to the point, and then rushed me out. As an ambitious youngster, I was frustrated that I couldn't grab more of their time.
Eventually, I came to realize they were doing the exact right thing. They were efficiently giving me the information I needed, then moving on to the next thing. They were also teaching me to maximize the effect of every moment of my time. I eventually learned time was more valuable than money and worked towards maximizing my time... and the time of others.
