Success happens by choice, not by chance.
If you want something in life - a killer job, a successful business, a healthy relationship, etc - then you have to choose it every single day. This isn’t a one-time deal either. It requires daily commitment. You have to say “yes” to the hard things, the boring things, or the things other people would avoid…and say “no” to anything that isn’t aligned with your goal.
I believe that simply having the option for success is a privilege.
What are you doing today to choose it?
1. This is the only sign you’ll ever need.
2. Never accept criticism from someone you wouldn’t approach for advice.
3. Find your personal fire and use it as fuel to pull you forward.
4. Generally speaking, pushback is a sign that you’re doing something right. Keep going.
5. This is why it’s so critical to obsess over the right things.
6. The only guaranteed path to failure is simply not trying.
Conversation Starter:
I spend a lot of time working with highly successful individuals, and many of them share a common trait: they’re not pushing themselves forward…they’re being PULLED.
This is a key differentiator if you want to become ultra-successful.
Why? Because people underestimate the amount of energy that push requires. It takes from you over time, whereas pull is energizing. It motivates you, inspires you, and compels you to move forward. It’s okay to use push to get started, but long-term performance *requires* pull.
Take a few seconds and connect with your pull. What excites you? What inspires you? What keeps you moving forward, even when you’re feeling discouraged or drained?
Share it in the comment section below, and use it as fuel to get you fired up for the days ahead.

I love this question. How do I connect with my "pull"? I agree that sometimes we need to push ourselves to get started but if that's the default, something is not in alignment within us. We need to feel our pull, that calling to do or be something that inspires us forward. For me, the pull is to create space to talk about the disenfranchised traumas in life that inhibit us. In the quest for success and being positive, sometimes we overlook the value in exploring those things that have harmed us, from which we can learn and then free ourselves. Sometimes people believe that being positive means ignoring the past. But I believe it is in making sense of the past that we can open up to our true "beingness" and then be authentically pulled towards a purpose that is in alignment with who we are and what we are meant to be. Thank you for this reminder today!
Love #2. Never accept critic from someone who you wouldn't accept advice. This goes along the same path as, don't accept advice from someone who isn't where you want to be. Limiting beliefs can be so tough to push through, especially when they come from loved ones. But you must be un-practical in your motivation to achieve when everyone around you is pushing for practicality. Thank you for sharing.
