We are all running forward (or at least I hope you are). Toward your goals, your dreams, your future…and a lot of people have a finish line in mind.
A certain position, a certain amount of money, being known as the best in your field, or doing something legacy-worthy.
There are things that matter to you moving forward…but is it really your finish line? Can you imagine someone who has gotten *exactly* where they want to go, sees what they can do, and simply stops? I rarely see it.
Usually, ambitious people just shift goals—shift direction—or shift where they put their attention. So, no matter where you are, there is always a place to place that energy.
From what I’ve seen, The finish line is really a very large marker in life’s path, and people find other markers to care about next.
Your life is a series of mile markers and goalposts.
Where you begin doesn’t matter, it’s only where you’re going…and it’s never really finished. Being inspired by what you can do will open a thousand doors you can’t see.
Time to hit the next mark ahead. Let’s move and grab that next goal ahead.
happy Friday! good pod, Dr. Gurner.
