Fear isn’t a red light; it’s often a good place to start. It’s a sign to look closer at just what is making you halt, and to look around. Because, chances are? You’re on the edge of something you should think more about—in your work, it’s often something incredibly challenging.
Too many people run from that edge. They pull back, stay comfortable, and just work within the lines…and if the majority are doing that, it can be a differentiator if you don’t. You can choose one thing—just one—and push it a little past those areas of comfort.
Don’t let that fear turn your back on the possibilities that might lie on the other side. Let it be the push you need to jump.
Let it be the guide you use to go where others won’t.
Your fear should raise the stakes, not a white flag. The path that scares you is one worth taking.
Lean into the fear, yes!
I love this post and I want to say something else: when you try to accomplish those hard things and you are in the process of doing them, you will be impressed by yourself and what you can do!
