Carve out some time on a walk or a drive and really think about what fuels the avoidance of this particular thing - the feeling or thoughts behind it…or maybe other things on that list. The why of your avoidance might give you exactly what you need to push through other things that are similar, because in many ways avoidance is a useful signal. Diving into it can help unlock untold growth, but only if you’re willing to do the hard thing and figure it out.
Make space for the things you’re avoiding. Take it on head first. Connect with why you’re avoiding it, and — once you identify that emotion — figure out the best way to make it less of a blocker in the future. If you’re like other successful people - you’ve got things to do.
